Reclaiming the living power within you as A black / Indigenous woman.

You know you have big medicine to offer...

Deep down, you know you are powerful, yet you remain in cycles of feeling disconnected from yourself, doubting your inner knowing, and questioning your intuition about how to birth your medicine into the world.

You've been the rock for your family and community, and yet, when it comes to being that rock for yourself—fully devoted to the calling in your heart—there never seems to be enough time, resources, support, or space to truly listen. You find yourself feeling stuck, stagnant, and increasingly uncertain about the unfolding of your medicine and purpose on Earth.

Perhaps you've forgotten what it feels like to be held. To RECEIVE. To rest. To allow yourself to be nourished by the same love, care, and devotion you so freely offer to others.

As Black and Indigenous women, we have been systematically silenced, severed, and conditioned to forget our inherent connection to our ancestral ways and the power we carry within to create, transmute, heal, and alchemize.

The Remembrance is a sacred retreat for the woman who is ready to stop circling the edge of her medicine and return to the body, the ancestors, the elements, and the Great Mother as living sources of wisdom.

It is a space to restore your spirit, replenish your body, deepen your capacity to receive, and remember that you were never meant to carry it all alone.

When Black and Indigenous women gather in reverence and relationship with Her elements—the earth, the plants, the breath, the water, and the fire—and remember who they are, Great Mother smiles, sovereign power is reclaimed, and the medicine that has been waiting within begins to rise.

This is why we gather. Not to become someone new, but to return to, and reclaim what was never truly lost.

What is the Remembrance?

The Remembrance is a restorative ceremonial retreat in Big Bear Lake, California for Black and Indigenous women who are ready to return to their bodies, their ancestral wisdom, and the medicine they came here to live.

Held by Diahnna Nicole Baxter, a Black woman, Embodied Liberation™ Coach, and Kundalini Priestess, alongside Amberly Polanco, an Indigenous Maya Medicine Keeper and Source Channel, this sacred gathering is rooted in ancestral remembrance, embodied healing, and the restoration of women's relationship with themselves, their lineage, and the Earth.

Held in a beautiful mountain retreat home nestled among towering pines, fresh alpine air, and the natural beauty of Big Bear Lake, this retreat is an invitation to soften, release, restore, and remember. Surrounded by fire, prayer, nature, and sacred sisterhood, you'll be held in a space that feels both deeply grounding and quietly luxurious.

Through plant medicine ceremony, fire ritual, water renewal, somatic practice, ancestral remembrance, and deep rest, you will be guided back into relationship with the truth that lives beneath the noise:

Your body is sacred.
Your medicine is real.
Your lineage is with you.
Your joy is part of your liberation.

This is for the woman WHO...

recieve, restore, re-member

  • Knows she carries big medicine, but has felt disconnected from fully LIVING it. She is ready to claim it, experience it, and finally live in alignment.

  • Desires deeper connection with her ancestral line and the wisdom moving through her body. Finally owning her right to claim the medicine that lives in her AS her.

  • Is ready to move beyond the 'healing' loops of constantly 'fixing' herself, and begin creating from her innate power and gifts.

  • Desires to develop a clearer channel, with the medicine that lives within her, and through her ancestral line.

  • Longs to expand her capacity to receive. To allow joy, rest, trust, to be her natural state, rather than worry, burnout and survival.

  • Is ready to reclaim the divine intelligence of her body as temple, her pleasure as wisdom, and her voice as medicine.

  • Desires reciprocal relationships, embodied joy, and deeper intimacy with life.

  • Feels called to gather with other visionary, purpose led,Black and Indigenous women in reverence, ceremony, and restoration.

You aRE Birhting A NEW WORLD

the world will be free when Black & Indigenous women are free.

It's time to remember...

The Mother birthed all.

There is nothing beyond woman except Godde.

Your soul incarnated in this temple that is the female body.

Your physical body, emotional body, mental body, light body.

Your melanated feminine body IS Great Mother.

Like her, you give birth. You make spirit into matter.

Like her you take one seed and produce a whole fruit tree, each fruit bearing many seeds.

You MULTIPLY whatever is given to you.

You are Abundance.

You take death and compost it into nourishing soil.

In service to your aliveness.

In service to the consciousness of love and justice creatng a new paradigm for the future generations.

In service to the Divine Feminine consciousness rising on the planet restoring us in right relationship.

In service to building a future the children deserve.

This is why we gather. Not to become someone new, but to return to and reclaim what was never truly lost.

May we listen To the whispers of the Grandmother's with no names... May we REMEMBER.

The Remembrance will be held in a spacious private mountain home perched among the pines with serene views of Big Bear Lake. This is more than where you will sleep.

It is where your body will exhale. Where you will be nourished.
Where you will gather by the fire, sit in circle, rest between ceremonies, share meals, integrate, laugh, soften, and remember what it feels like to be held.

Inside, the home offers the warmth of a mountain lodge — vaulted ceilings, a beautiful brick fireplace, cozy gathering spaces, a full kitchen, and room for sacred sisterhood to unfold with ease.

Outside, a spacious deck invites fresh air, mountain stillness, and moments of quiet reflection beneath the trees.

Between ceremony, workshops, meals, and integration, you will have space to rest, journal, connect, pray, and let the land support your return.

The home includes eight bedrooms, four bathrooms, shared gathering areas, a game room for lightness and integration, and ample space for an intimate circle of women to be held in comfort.
